Spot trading on Bybit means buying or selling cryptocurrencies at the current market price with instant settlement. If your account is already set up and funded, here’s a simple step-by-step guide to get started:

1) Access the Spot Trading Interface

Website: Log into your Bybit account at www.bybit.com. Hover over the “Trade” menu in the top navigation bar and click on “Spot Trading.”

• Mobile App: Open the Bybit app, tap “Trade” at the bottom, and select “Spot.” 

• This will direct you to the spot trading desk, where you can see trading pairs, price charts, order books, and your order status.

2) Fund Your Spot Account

Bybit uses distinct accounts for funding and trading. To start trading, you'll need to transfer funds from your Funding Account to your Spot Account.

Steps:

• Click on “Assets” in the down-right corner to open the “Assets Overview” page.

• Find your Funding Account, click the “Transfer” icon, and select “Spot Account” as the destination.

• Choose the cryptocurrency (e.g., USDT) and enter the amount you want to transfer.

• Click “Confirm” to complete the transfer (no fees involved).
